Alzheimer’s Care is more than just another eldercare program. It is the result of extensive research and training on Alzheimer’s disease and how it affects both the patient and the patient’s family. Our work with the national Alzheimer’s Association, along with our experience as a leading provider of eldercare services, helps us to individualize the care of our residents who have the disease.

Our philosophical approach to Alzheimer’s care is to enhance our residents’ lives by:
  • Honoring each person’s uniqueness and dignity
  • Building on individual strengths
  • Interpreting the language of behavior
  • Understanding that “life is an activity of being and doing”
  • Creating an environment that nurtures their feelings
  • Eliminating the factors that cause disability
  • Enabling freedom of movement and expression
  • Providing continuity of care and services throughout all stages of the disease
  • Entering into “partnerships” with family members and others who touch our residents’ lives
Our staff have the knowledge and experience to provide the right care for your loved one. And because we consider you -- the family -- as valuable members of our caregiving team, we will show you ways to better understand and communicate with your loved one.

At Alzheimer’s Care, our programming is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week -- delivered in small groups or individually -- based on our social model of care. Also, as part of our commitment to provide continuity of care, our advanced Alzheimer’s care units focus on residents in the later stages of the disease.

We not only provide high-quality, professional care and services for our residents with Alzheimer’s, we also take an active role in the fight against the disease. Since 1998, our employees and our company have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in Memory Walks, with all funds donated to the local chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association.
